Were love caring for our Favorite Goats!
The Korver Family
The Korver family found their love for goats at a young age in 4-H where they won many first place awards for their goats. Justin and Brittany found love in the goat pens at the 4-H goat shows and their love blossomed into a beautiful family that loves caring for goats. They began breeding goats after their schooling and Justin started making goat cheese from the milk as a hobby. The demand for his goat cheese grew the more he shared it.
Justin and Brittany soon formed a love for making goat cheese and caring for their goats, especially the goat kids. Their dream was to one day open up a their own creamery that made cheese from their award winning goats. Their dreams came true as Favorite, LLC gave birth in 2023.
The Dykstra Family
The Dykstra family found their love for business at an early age with DeWayne Dykstra opening The Wood Shop, Inc. Josh, James, and Jake learned their work ethic from building cabinets from the time they could hand sand. After college, each of the brothers joined the business and together they look for opportunities to expand their business knowledge.
Together, they learned about the Korver family's vision for opening a artisan goat cheese plant. The potential business opportunity was ripe for the taking and after many conversations about making cheese, eating cheese, and learning about goats the partnership was formed. Together the Dykstra's and the Korver's joined in the Korver's dream of starting up Favorite, LLC in 2023.
